Youth Missions @ First & Calvary

Mission work is one of the key pillars of our Youth group. In the past year we have sent a team to Joplin to help with rebuilding homes and lives, worked at The Ozark Food Harvest, Crosslines, Convoy of Hope, Springfield Victory Mission as well as The Salvation Army.

High School Mission & Family Missions:

During the summer we have a three day to week long mission opportunity for 8-12 grades and their families. Last year we served in Joplin, Missouri to rebuild after the tornado.

In previous years the youth in grades 8-12 have gone to St. Louis to minister to individuals and families as well as to work on rebuilding projects.

We also routinely do mission work as part of the summer Youth Choir trips.

Project 40, Local Missions:

  • Project 40’s focus is generated from Matthew 25:40
  • Local Mission work, right here in Springfield, for grades 6-12
  • Last year we worked at God’s Garden (the Kitchen), Victory Mission and the Salvation Army
The King will reply,
“I tell you the truth, what ever you did for one of the least
of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:40

Looking forward to serving Christ through missions with you!
