#Family Summer Sunday School

During the school year, First & Calvary Presbyterian Church uses FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum in our Sunday School classes from ages 2-Grade 5. This dynamic, exciting curriculum focuses on weaving faith into all areas of the learner’s life. It provides meaningful activities, great discussions, and personal challenges that go beyond learning Bible facts and into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

With FaithWeaver, all ages learn the same Bible story or passage, but the activities are unique and age appropriate. After Sunday School is over and throughout the week, parents are provided with resources and encouraged to talk about the Sunday School lesson. It truly “weaves” faith into life!

We need a Children's Ministry Registration Form for every child who participates. This form can be used for all children birth through Grade 5. Please return completed form to Erika O'Bryant.

Where do the classes meet?

FaithWeaver Sunday School Classes are located in the following rooms:
2 year olds Room 121
3 year olds Room 214
4/Pre-K 5's Room 215
Kindergarten Room 216
Grades 1 & 2 Room 219
Grades 3 & 4 Room 220
Grade 5 Room 221

How parents can get involved:

  • Pray for your child and their Sunday School teachers and classmates.
  • Volunteer to teach, assist, or mentor students.
  • Ask your child about the lesson.
  • Continue the discussion throughout the week.
  • Pray WITH your children.
  • Participate in activities for adults at First & Calvary.
  • Your children will copy your behaviors.
  • Worship with your children.

Interactive! Intergenerational! Inclusive!

June 2 Through August 18 - Meets in Room 020

This is a class study where children, youth, and adults learn with and from each other. All ages of children, youth and adults are welcome to come with their parents or grandparents to engage in activities and discussion about the Fruit of the Spirit and the Armor of God. This class will meet every Sunday from June 2 through August 18 and is an option for all age groups from Kindergarten through adult.

Summer Sunday School Weekly Schedule

Preschool FaithWeaver Sunday (ages 2-preKindergarten 5s) school will continue throughout the summer.
