Caring for our building and grounds is a tangible way we love our neighbors and steward the gifts God has entrusted to us. From routine maintenance to special projects, this ministry helps create safe, welcoming spaces where worship, learning, and community can flourish.

Serve in Building & Grounds

Opportunities

Our Building & Grounds team serves on an as-needed basis, helping care for our campus through occasional projects that keep our spaces safe, welcoming, and well-loved. Volunteers may be called upon for outdoor work, indoor projects, and general upkeep. Some projects happen a few times a year, while others arise as needs emerge.

If you enjoy hands-on work and would like to be contacted when help is needed, we invite you to sign up and serve as you are able—no weekly commitment required.

Examples:

Outdoors
- Trimming bushes
- Planting flowers and bushes
- Pulling weeds
- Minor landscaping
- Special projects such as recoating the skylights
- Cleaning the flat roof above the atrium of leaves several times a year
Indoors
- Painting
- Minor patching of drywall
- Lite carpentry and trim work (reattaching trim and backsplashes)
- Changing light bulbs
- Cleaning out the mechanical basement
- Organizing our tool rooms
- Changing several toilet seats
