Adults
Sunday morning classes start back Sept. 8 at 9:45am. Here are the current offerings:
Paul's Letter to the Romans | In this teaching series, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey takes us verse by verse through Romans and emboldens Christians to declare with the Apostle, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” This class is hosted by the 49rs in Room 115 Sept. 8-29.
The Father Heart of God | In his work with people of various social and ethnic backgrounds, Floyd McClung has met many who suffer from deep emotional hurts and fears. Time and again it has been the discovery of God as Father - Perfect and reliable, unlike any human parent - that has brought freedom and healing. This class is for you who find it hard to accept God as a loving Father; or, if you know God loves you but would like to share his love more effectively. This class is hosted by Little Bacon in Room 020 Sept. 8-29.
The Making of a Disciple | In this study of discipleship led by Neil Stenger and based on Kenneth Frederick’s book with this title, we will use relevant truths from the life of Peter to help us understand how to disciple other Christians. Although we will never walk on water, we will all experience the same type of struggles, victories, and “growing pains” in the Christian life. This class is hosted by McClung in Room 026 beginning Sept. 8.
Worship on Earth as it is in Heaven | Rory Noland addresses the challenges of Christian worship head-on, offering practical suggestions gleaned from Scripture on understanding and experiencing vibrant worship. This class is hosted by March Fellowship in Room 015 beginning Sept. 8.
