Missions Team

SERVE -

The Mission Team exists to help our church love our neighbors near and far through hands-on service and faithful presence. Led by our Missions Committee, this team supports and participates in local mission efforts—ranging from food pantry support and community service projects to spontaneous “pop-up” opportunities where help is needed most.

By joining the Mission Team, you’ll be part of a group that listens, responds, and serves together, discerning how God is calling us to live out our faith through action. If you’re interested in being part of ongoing mission work and being invited into meaningful service opportunities, we’d love for you to sign up.

Opportunities

Our Building & Grounds team serves on an as-needed basis, helping care for our campus through occasional projects that keep our spaces safe, welcoming, and well-loved. Volunteers may be called upon for outdoor work, indoor projects, and general upkeep. Some projects happen a few times a year, while others arise as needs emerge.

If you enjoy hands-on work and would like to be contacted when help is needed, we invite you to sign up and serve as you are able—no weekly commitment required.

Examples:

Outdoors
- Trimming bushes
- Planting flowers and bushes
- Pulling weeds
- Minor landscaping
- Special projects such as recoating the skylights
- Cleaning the flat roof above the atrium of leaves several times a year
Indoors
- Painting
- Minor patching of drywall
- Lite carpentry and trim work (reattaching trim and backsplashes)
- Changing light bulbs
- Cleaning out the mechanical basement
- Organizing our tool rooms
- Changing several toilet seats
