Advent Worship Services & Devotions begin | Nov. 30th
Each Sunday in December, during our 8:45 a.m., 9:45 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. worship services, we will share a special reading and lighting of the Advent wreath as part of our sermon series, Foretold and Fulfilled.
This Advent, prepare your heart by exploring the incredible, divine drama of Christ’s birth—foretold by the prophets and fulfilled in the Gospels. Join us as we celebrate the faithfulness of our God, who keeps every promise.
Celebrate While We Wait- 10:00 AM | Dec. 6
Please join us as we celebrate the beauty of the Advent season and the joy of waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises. There will be carols to sing, ornaments to create, cookies to decorate, and a special project to help your family spread cheer to others. This event is best for families with children elementary-age and younger, and there will be fun options for infants and toddlers as well as your older children. Make plans to Celebrate While We Wait! 93rd Annual Candlelight Musical Service | Dec. 7 - 7:30 PM
This time-honored tradition celebrates the beauty of the arts at First & Calvary through an intimate evening of worship, candlelight, and song. Featuring choirs, instrumentalists, and friends of the church, the Candlelight Musical Service weaves together Scripture, prayer, and a rich variety of musical styles. For nearly a century, this beloved service has invited our community to wonder at the story of Christ’s birth.

Featuring choir, strings, and percussion. Experience The Christmas Story of Isaiah through an original song cycle by Faith Zimmer, beautifully blending Scripture, music, and worship in celebration of the coming of Christ.
Crosslines Toyshop Volunteer Opportunity | Dec. 20 | 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Join First & Calvary in serving with Crosslines Community Outreach at their Christmas Distribution on Saturday, Dec. 20, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the Ozarks Fairgrounds E*Plex. This family-friendly event begins with brief training, then volunteers accompany families as they select toys and receive groceries for a holiday meal. Our goal is 40 volunteers. First & Calvary helped found Crosslines and its Holiday Distribution—this is a meaningful way to celebrate Advent by serving our neighbors. Questions? The 7:00 PM Service will feature music led by the choir, beloved Christmas carols with a string quartet, communion, and Silent Night sung by candlelight.
Single Service Sunday | Dec. 28 | 11 AM
Join us for a single worship service in the sanctuary as we wrap up the Christmas season at First & Calvary. Following the service, enjoy a sweet treat with Binnie Clement’s Guild-famous cinnamon rolls!
