Each Sunday in December, during our 8:45 a.m., 9:45 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. worship services, we will share a special reading and lighting of the Advent wreath as part of our sermon series, Foretold and Fulfilled.
This Advent, prepare your heart by exploring the incredible, divine drama of Christ’s birth—foretold by the prophets and fulfilled in the Gospels. Join us as we celebrate the faithfulness of our God, who keeps every promise.
First Friday Art Walk | Dec. 4th

Calling all makers! Rather than taking a deep dive into one artist's work, we'd love to bring together many artists and makers to showcase the breadth of creativity within our congregation! We're envisioning tables throughout the atrium walkways and catwalks, each featuring a selection of someone's work. Have more than a table's worth of work to share? We can accommodate! Celebrate While We Wait- 10:00 AM | Dec. 5
Please join us as we celebrate the beauty of the Advent season and the joy of waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises. There will be carols to sing, ornaments to create, cookies to decorate, and a special project to help your family spread cheer to others. This event is best for families with children elementary-age and younger, and there will be fun options for infants and toddlers as well as your older children. Make plans to Celebrate While We Wait! 94th Annual Candlelight Musical Service | Dec. 6 - 6:30 PM
This time-honored tradition celebrates the beauty of the arts at First & Calvary through an intimate evening of worship, candlelight, and song. Featuring choirs, instrumentalists, and friends of the church, the Candlelight Musical Service weaves together Scripture, prayer, and a rich variety of musical styles. For nearly a century, this beloved service has invited our community to wonder at the story of Christ’s birth.

Crosslines Toyshop Volunteer Opportunity | Dec. 19 | 8 AM - 12:30 PM
Join First & Calvary in serving with Crosslines Community Outreach at their Christmas Distribution on Saturday, Dec. 19, 8 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the Ozarks Fairgrounds E-Plex. This family-friendly event begins with brief training, then volunteers accompany families as they select toys and receive groceries for a holiday meal. First & Calvary helped found Crosslines and its Holiday Distribution—this is a meaningful way to celebrate Advent by serving our neighbors. Questions? Christmas Eve Services | Dec. 24
4PM
The 4:00 PM Service will feature fun interactive elements for children, beloved Christmas carols with a string quintet, and Silent Night sung by candlelight.
7 PM
The 7:00 PM Service will feature music led by the choir, beloved Christmas carols with a string quintet, communion, and Silent Night sung by candlelight.
The offering collected on Christmas Eve will be going toward the Brother’s Keeper Fund at First & Calvary.
